Verizon has dropped their version of Galaxy Tab to just $499.99. For those of you who have bought the Tab for $599 in the last 14 days, Verizon will be offering refunds.
Of course, we think the price for Galaxy Tab will drop even further next week when Galaxy Tab 2 is announced (supposedly).
We will be heading over the Las Vegas tomorrow to get all the hands-on reviews of the latest Android tablets so watch out for that.
Archos has just launched their latest Archos 70 250GB unit, this is the biggest storage option for an Android tablet.
The Archos 70 sports a 1Ghz processor and it’s only 0.55 inches thin. For those of you who need a lot of storage space, perhaps for storing all your favorite movies so you can watch it while you travel, Archos 70 certainly is one
Looks like NFS Npad is on the way (we hope), and it’s one of the first devices running Google Android on an Intel platform. Of course, Intel’s CPUs are much more consuming as far as power consumption but it’s definitely true that Intel is already working on tablet-optimized CPUs. We should be able to see these in actual Android tablets within the next 2 or 3 years.
Galaxy Tab has reportedly sold over 1 million units worldswide!
Galaxy Tab has sold 1 million units in the last 2 months worldwide. But since Galaxy Tab was intro-ed in the U.S. and South Korea just over 2 weeks ago, it might be possible that they will sell a whole bunch more in the upcoming weeks. Especially with the holiday season around the corner, there will be a lot more Galaxy Tab sales now than ever.
Here’s Viewsonic G Android tablet reviewed hands-on and it seems very promising with 1024×600 resolution capacitative screen, webcam for video chat, 1GB of RAM, and Android 2.2.
What surprises me the most about this review is its performance with the games. Although it’s not going to tell us a whole lot about what it can actually do, I think it certainly looks better than an iPad. (See video after the jump!)
Laptop Magazine reports that the ViewSonic G-Tablet will have a list price of $529, although it will likely sell for a bit less when it hits Rad
Motorola’s CEO Sanjay Jha has recently announced that they are working on a new Android tablet but won’t be ready until early 2011.
We do have high hopes for Motorola’s Android tablet since they’ve already launched several successful Android smartphones such as the Droid X and Droid 2.
“I will only develop a tablet if it is sufficiently compelling. Hopefully, that is early next year,” Jha said, noting that he doesn’t see the tablet market cannibalizing the smartphone market, but rather he sees tablets serving as extensions of smartphon
Just as we predicted, Samsung is launching their Samsung Galaxy Tab Android Tablet to all major U.S. carriers including Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. This comes to us as no surprise as Samsung has done the same with their Galaxy S Android smartphones.
There’s no word when the Galaxy Tab will be available but it won’t be too long before you can get your hands on one in the U.S.

While some of us are wondering when we will actually be able to buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab here in the States, some German guy has already “rooted” the Galaxy Tab as shown in this screenshot. Of course, that’s good news because when I get hands on mine, I will know that it’s completely, easily rootable and do more things like overclocking apps and more.
