Do you know why we do an Android Tablet comparison? Because, unlike an iPad or two, Android has different sizes you can buy, different hardware you can buy, and even different peripheral features like an HDMI output or even 1080P video recording.
Really though, it comes down to what you need and how much you are willing to spend. Depending on what you want from a tablet device, you could be spending anywhere from a cheap, Chinese-made (not being prejudice, just sayin’ there’s a lot more in Asia) or even Korean-made for godsakes I am Korean American, $100 Android tablet to a really nice $500 Xoom Wi-Fi. (Btw, I like wifi-versions on tablets, it cost me a lot less plus I have like 5 or 6 Android smartphones that have been hacked as a wifi tether device.)
Okay, that might have been a long, run-on sentence but I did that on purpose to show you that for Android tablets, there’s a future, and that means great news for you as a consumer because that just means you will get the best deal on what you really want without spending a lot more if you don’t need an HDMI output, if you don’t need a 10.1″ screen.
That’s the beauty of Android tablets and that is why I love it.
