At CES 2011, we were able to get a glimpse of what ASUS has coming for their “first” line of Android tablets.
First up is this Eee Pad MeMo, that will supposedly run Android 3.0 (or Honeycomb). Although there’s no official date of release, we are excited behind ASUS’s announcement and their previous affairs with laptops and netbooks.
The Eee Pad MeMo has a 7-inch screen with 1024×600 resolution, Qualcomm 8260 dual-core 1.2Ghz processor, and front/back cameras with LED flash.
The Eee Pad also ups current tablet devices in the market by letting you use a pressure-sensitive tablet stylus to draw with precision and accuracy.
The Eee Pad MeMo has the best specs (as far as dual-core 1.2Ghz processor goes), and we will have to wait for more details but certainly might be worth your wait if you want a 7-inch Android tablet device.
And yes, this is much faster/better device than the current Galaxy Tab (until Galaxy Tab 2 hits the market).
